Oil Change

What’s Going On:
Your engine oil lubricates all the moving parts of your engine to prevent friction, wear, and overheating. Over time, oil breaks down and collects dirt, reducing its effectiveness.

What You Might Notice:

  • A dashboard light that looks like an oil can

  • Engine feels louder than usual

  • You’re past your last sticker or reminder for a change

  • The oil looks dark and gritty if you check it yourself

When to Schedule:
Every 3,000 to 5,000 miles (or as recommended by your car’s manual). If you’re unsure, we can check it for you.

What’s Going On:
Brakes wear down gradually—pads thin out, rotors warp, or calipers get stuck. The system might still “work,” but it may not stop your car effectively or safely.

What You Might Notice:

  • Squeaking, squealing, or grinding when braking

  • A pulsing or vibration when you press the pedal

  • A brake warning light on your dash

  • The pedal feels soft, spongy, or goes further than usual

When to Schedule:
As soon as you notice any of the above or at regular inspection intervals. We can give your system a full look.

Basic Diagnostics

What’s Going On:
Sometimes your car tells you something is wrong—a “check engine” light or strange performance—but doesn’t say what exactly. We use diagnostic tools to read the codes and pinpoint the issue.

What You Might Notice:

  • “Check Engine” or other warning lights

  • Odd smells, noises, or reduced performance

  • Poor gas mileage or sluggish acceleration

  • Car starts rough or idles strangely

When to Schedule:
If any warning lights are on or something “just doesn’t feel right.” We’ll get you answers.

What’s Going On:
Over time, refrigerant leaks or evaporates from the system, making your A/C blow warm air. A recharge adds refrigerant and ensures the system holds pressure correctly.

What You Might Notice:

  • Air blowing out isn’t cold—even when cranked to max

  • A/C takes too long to cool

  • Weird smells from vents

  • Loud clicks or hissing when A/C is on

When to Schedule:
If your A/C isn’t keeping up or has never been serviced, especially before summer hits.
