At Harrison Family Service Center, we believe that trust is earned—not given. That belief comes naturally to brothers Derek and Andrew Harrison, who were born and raised right here in Topeka. Growing up, they shared a love for cars that can be traced back to the lessons and example set by their father. That passion has grown into a family legacy of automotive care, one that continues to shape the heart of our business today.
As a tribute to their dad’s influence, Derek and Andrew proudly restored a classic 1949 Chevy Coupe together, gifting it to him on his birthday—a project that perfectly captured the spirit of family, hard work, and craftsmanship that Harrison Family Service Center stands for.
Today, both Derek and Andrew are proud husbands and fathers, with children of their own—some of whom are now grown. In fact, keeping it all in the family, one of Derek’s sons now works alongside them at the shop. When they aren’t working under the hood, you might find Andrew perfecting his golf swing or Derek traveling to Mexico for mission trips, continuing their commitment to serving others.
Leading our service team is Sam, our head mechanic. With years of hands-on experience, Sam has poured his knowledge, skill, and even personal investment into making sure our shop runs at peak efficiency. His expertise in both technical repairs and real-world problem solving ensures every vehicle receives the highest level of care. Like the Harrison brothers, Sam knows the importance of family—balancing his commitment to the shop with life as a husband and father.
